I am already using ERP system, why do I need MES?

In fact, discrete manufacturing companies in all industries need to manage business process information in one integrated ERP system or from multiple IT systems incorporating spreadsheets. Many typical areas of these systems require special attention: sales, CRM, finance, purchasing/purchasing, warehousing, human resources, quality management, and production planning.
